Frozen Gummy Otters

Prep in 5 minutes | Serves 1
Frozen gummies went viral for a good reason: chewy, icy, and with a little zing in every bite. Most viral gummy recipes are full of sugar from the gummies and the soda you use to soak them. Ours uses Allmighty Gummies and a sugar-free soda option, so you get the same viral snack with 0g added sugar.
What you need
- 1 pack Allmighty Gummies
- 1 can sugar-free soda (330ml), any flavour you like - we used Gut C's peach flavour
- Parchment paper or a baking sheet
What to do
- Place the gummies in a bowl and pour over enough sugar-free soda to fully submerge. Cover and leave to soak in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Drain the gummies and lay them out on parchment paper or a baking sheet, spaced apart so they don't touch.
- Freeze for at least 3 hours, then enjoy straight from the freezer.
Why it works
As the gummies soak, they absorb the soda and swell up, picking up its flavour and a little fizz. Freezing firms them into an icy, chewy bite that's somewhere between a gummy and a sorbet. Allmighty Gummies are made with 0g added sugar, so pairing them with a sugar-free soda keeps the whole snack light.
Tips
- Freeze them separately. Spacing the gummies out on parchment paper stops them sticking together and makes them easy to pop off.
- Play with flavours. Fruity sodas like peach, lemon or berry pair especially well with Berry Otters.
- Make a batch ahead. Once frozen, transfer them to an airtight container and keep them in the freezer for whenever you're craving something icy and sweet.
